The group started business in 1978 with a modest beginning as an advertising firm and gained identity as an industrial enterprise ever since 1983. Success in the ready-made garment sector, since early 80s, has paved the way for the group’s diversification and expansion. Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited, a subsidiary of Impress Group, is the second largest pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh. Incepta has a large distribution network, coordinated from 19 different locations throughout the country.

Impress Telefilm Limited is the largest media production house in Bangladesh. It produces films, telefilms, drama and drama serials, music videos, variety shows, magazine programmes, musical programmes, documentaries and TV commercials.

Impress Group has business ventures in trading to meet the requirements of its subsidiaries. The group now provides a charter helicopter service under the brand name of Impress Aviation. Other areas of business include cargo-handling, logistics operation, information technology, construction and fisheries.
