During the mid-seventies, the company launched a brave venture into the area of deep-sea fishing, which was comparatively an unexplored sector at that time. Hosaf Group became the pioneer in introducing reconditioned cars in Bangladesh under the leadership of founder Chairman Mr. Moazzam Hossain.

The goal was to develop the company into a premier business institution. After three decades, Hosaf has become well established as one of the leading business houses in Bangladesh, having a sizeable turnover and employing more than 800 people. At present, Hosaf Group holds stakes in the power and energy sector, financial sector, electric meter, LED lights, hospitality sector and even real estate.
