Graphite Electrode is one of the most important metallurgical products, mainly used as conductive material in electric arc furnace metallurgy production.
UHP graphite electrodes are mainly used for steelmaking high-power and ultra-high power electric furnaces.
HP graphite electrodes are mainly used for ultra high power electric arc furnaces with the current density range of 18–25 A/cm2.
RP graphite electrodes with a current density lower than 17A/cm2 are allowed, and they are mainly used in ordinary power electric furnaces for steelmaking, silicon making, and yellow phosphorus making.
